Fiori app could not be opened — target mapping or intent resolution failed

Fiori Launchpad shows that an app cannot be opened or the navigation target cannot be resolved for the requested semantic object/action.

Likely root causes

  1. Target mapping is missing, inactive or assigned to a catalog the user does not have.
  2. Semantic object/action in the tile or link does not match the target mapping.
  3. System alias/device/form-factor or parameter constraints prevent intent resolution.

What to inspect

  1. FLP intent/target mapping for semantic object and action.
  2. User business catalog/role assignment.
  3. Launchpad support tools and browser console intent-resolution details.
  4. Target mapping parameters and system alias.

Resolution path

  1. Correct the semantic object/action or target mapping.
  2. Assign only the required catalog/role through security governance.
  3. Fix alias/parameter constraints if the mapping exists but is not eligible.
  4. Retest navigation from the same FLP context/user.
