Receiver could not be determined for outbound IDoc

ALE cannot determine a valid receiver system/partner for an outbound message, so the expected IDoc is not distributed.

Likely root causes

  1. Distribution model lacks the message type/receiver relationship.
  2. ALE filters exclude the business object/data.
  3. Logical system or partner configuration does not match the model.

What to inspect

  1. BD64 distribution model for message type, sender and receiver.
  2. Filter objects/values applied to the model.
  3. Logical-system assignments and partner profiles.
  4. Change-pointer/output trigger that initiated distribution.

Resolution path

  1. Correct the distribution model or filter to represent the intended receiver.
  2. Fix logical-system/partner alignment.
  3. Do not broaden filters globally without assessing other distribution traffic.
  4. Regenerate/retrigger a controlled test and verify one intended receiver.
