Likely root causes
- The serial-number profile requires serialization for this movement.
- Number of serial numbers does not match the posted quantity.
- Serial numbers are already assigned, invalid or in an incompatible status.
What to inspect
- Material serial-number profile.
- Serial-number entry/count on the goods movement.
- IQ03 serial master/status for affected numbers.
Resolution path
- Enter exactly the required valid serial numbers.
- Correct quantity or serial assignments if they do not match.
- Resolve serial status/master-data issues through the supported equipment/serial process.
- Retest the movement and resulting equipment/stock status.
