SD incompletion
Delivery cannot be created because sales order is incomplete
Delivery creation is blocked because required sales-order header/item/schedule-line data is incomplete.
Likely root causes
- Incompletion procedure marks a required field as missing.
- Master data did not default a required shipping/partner field.
- Custom exit/interface cleared or failed to provide a mandatory value.
What to inspect
- Sales-order incompletion log.
- Missing field and the incompletion procedure assigned to the document/item type.
- Customer/material/partner master data that should supply the field.
Resolution path
- Fill or correctly derive the missing business data.
- Fix master data or interface logic if the field should default automatically.
- Do not remove the field from incompletion merely to create one delivery.
- Recheck order completeness and delivery due status.
