Practise the SAP ticket before it's real.

Work realistic SAP production incidents the way a senior consultant does. Choose your checks, commit to a root cause and a safe fix, then see exactly how an experienced lead would have closed it.

Nothing since Monday is coming up for billing

Since Monday morning none of the new standard orders show up in the billing due list. The warehouse confirms deliveries went out and goods issue is posted. Everything created up to last Friday billed fine. Month-end is Thursday and we already have about 340 deliveries we can't invoice.

System: S/4HANA, order type ZOR (copy of OR), delivery-related billing, nightly collective billing job. The weekend transport window ran Sunday evening.

Investigate

Open the checks you would really run. Each shows what you'd find. Checks that don't move the diagnosis cost focus points — think before you click.

Run at least one check first.

Built for the interview question

"Tell me about a production issue you solved." The lab trains the habits behind a strong answer: evidence before theory, the change that started it, and a fix that doesn't cause the next incident.

What courses skip

Which check to run first, which ones waste a morning, and why the quick fix is often the costly one — the judgement that separates support from lead.

Practice, honestly labelled

The lab builds judgement, not experience. In interviews, describe it as practice — never as a project you worked on.
