Interview evidence lab

Can you prove the skills this job asks for?

A keyword alone is rarely enough in an SAP interview. Prepare one real project story per important skill: business issue → your SAP action → how you tested it → observed result.

How the match works

Job posts for SAP roles follow a pattern: a title that names the module, a list of responsibilities that describes the day-to-day work, a requirements list that recruiters screen on, and a short "nice to have" list. The decoder reads each line in its section, so "Exposure to advanced ATP" under nice-to-have stays a nice-to-have, while "Strong hands-on pricing" under requirements becomes a must-have. Every skill is shown with the sentence it came from, so you can check the reading yourself.

The fit score only counts what you tick. It is not a prediction of a hiring decision — it is a quick, honest view of how your profile lines up with what this employer wrote down. The biggest lever is usually one or two must-haves: close those, and an average match becomes a strong one.

Questions

Does ERPClimb store the job description I paste?
No. The job is decoded inside your browser. Only the module codes and skill names the decoder found are used to look up matching lessons and questions — the job text itself is never sent.
How is the fit score calculated?
Each skill the job asks for is weighted by importance: must-haves count three times, core skills twice and nice-to-haves once. Skills you tick give you 75 points' worth, and experience against the stated minimum gives up to 25. If a must-have is missing the score is capped at 79, and at 59 when three or more are missing, because recruiters usually screen on must-haves first.
Which SAP roles does it understand?
Functional roles (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, PS, EWM, TM, HCM/SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, MDG), technical roles (ABAP, RAP/CDS/OData, BTP and Integration Suite, Basis, Security/GRC) and analytics roles (BW, SAC, Datasphere), plus S/4HANA delivery context such as brownfield conversions, RISE and support projects.
Is it really free?
Yes. Decoding a job, the fit score, likely questions and the prep plan are free and need no account. A free account lets you tailor your resume to the job and run mock interviews.
