TM-SD-EWM Integration: Delivery-Based Transportation and Warehouse Handoffs
Understand how sales/delivery demand becomes transportation demand in TM and how planned freight execution coordinates with EWM warehouse tasks, loading and goods issue.
EWM had staged pallets for one loading door while TM replanned the delivery onto another freight order after a capacity change. A missing status/integration update caused the warehouse to load against stale transportation data. Governance of the replanning cutoff fixed the handoff.
